Scout changing?
Since Aunt Alexandra has lived with Scout we start to see her finally change into a young lady and lose her tomboy attitude. This is obviously because of how pushy Aunt Alexandra has been...but I don't think I like it!!! I liked the tomboy Scout. Why does she have to change??? Does anyone else wish she would stay herself?

No. As a boy, I feel the need for all girls to grow up to be beautiful classy ladies.
She's only like nine though. She doesn't have to be there yet
The younger they start the better they will be when they are older. Some people in our class could take example.
I believe that most little girls go through the tomboy age when they are younger and eventually will become more girly.
Maybe it's not becoming a "lady", maybe it's just maturing. Being a tomboy is cute when you are 8, but when you are 27 and still wearing overalls and catching frogs in the mud, it's kind of a turn-off.

Scout should definitely grow up a little, and it might be just from thinking what she can do to keep things in order. Instead of arguing with her aunt or fighting with Jem, she's behaving herself so others can have an easier time. But, yes, it is dissapointing to see Tomboy Scout start to go. It is funny with her around.
Oh Puh-lease! Scout is nine for crying out loud. Definition of a lady---BORING. Have a little fun, no need to grow up...embrace it, live a little...
Seriosly... You only live once...... And seriosly would you rather her be caring about what she looks like at 9 ? i am 15 and i dont care. Wow guys. Wow.
yeah! im 15 and still play foot ball, catch bugs, eat with my mouth open and get dirt on my clothes. Your only a child once so live it up! Thunder Fist your dumb.
Pretty sure i just caught a bug. with my bear hands , and it was poisenous.

Well MADDY CHRISTAIN ALLEN I feel that it is not stupid at all. And i do believe that you c can be quite girly as well.
